 Our short-stay
apartments are fully furnished and open to anyone who needs health
care supervision on a temporary basis.
Typically,
short-stay guests are:
- persons who can't manage alone while recuperating from an illness
or injury;
- persons who have no one to look in on them while their usual help
is out of town;
- persons who wish to be close to Hutchinson Hospital for treatment
or therapy.
Stays
typically range from one week to two months, and any person is
eligible providing he or she does not require nursing home placement.
While
in the short-stay apartments, guests have someone close by 24
hours a day to provide help and service.
Because
the apartments are furnished, guests don't have to bring a thing
from home except clothes and toiletries.

look expensive, but we are not more expensive than comparable facilities
in Hutchinson.
